New rounds on my l2000 and now SB-2?

So I tried Fatbeams on my L2000 today after a good two years of TI flats and you know they sound great! Very aggressive but controlled I would say that really has a good umph on the mids and highs. A really nice warm bright sound that's a change of thing from the TI flats.

However I do miss that thump and now smooth bottom from the TI flats on a l2000 but they were just not working for the prog rock band I'm with.

Also I think I want to try an SB-2 (partly also since I only used the neck pup with the flats and with preamp on it just got a bit distorted at times being high output and all) before I look for another l2000, how do I search for them on this classified board with the given search parameters. Thank you just had to say Dr Fatbeams and G&L rocks.

Good question...being the search doesn't allow 3 letter searches I wondered the same . There must be a trick to it. but my feeble mind doesn't know it.

try sb2..... i believe that works.

My problem with most rounds on my L2K is the booming low end.... even with the bass rolled off. On my little SWR WM12, it gives an almost chorus effect. On my big rig with the band, it's just too overpowering. TI SA's tamed that beautifully. Give them a try next.... and they last forever!
