new SB2 Day

I just got my new USA SB2 today. I was told 8 weeks, only took 4. The thing is a beauty, and plays great too. It's finish is glossy natural with a tort pickguard.

What strings (brand and gauge) come standard on this model from the factory?

That's hot. If I could get a custom order, I'd probably go with a butterscotch. I'm not a fan of natural, but on yours, with the tort guard?

That is nice!

They've used both DA XL170, and SIT nickel powerwound; both in med light, 45-100 IIRC.

nice! was there a hang tag on it for strings? I recently got a NOS us sb-2 that had an Elixir hang tag on it. The strings were a little to large and stiff for my taste so I replaced w/ some SIT silencers w/ a .095 E

The SIT website still shows nickel powerwound as stock for G&L...
