And here I thought my natural/swamp ass 2500 was nice, here comes this one! magnificent....
lemme save you some money when you do your setup tho - I notice you have the E and B strung through the bridge. This is ok, but what you run into with regular long scale strings. They're too short for all the strings to go through the body, which I've found out now after about 50 bucks worth of strings while doing the setup on mine.
I've settled on the .100 guage D'addario EXL 170's on mine, but I have a couple sets of the super long scale set down at the post office right now (from juststrings.com).
I'll let you know if those are long enough for them all to thread through the body as I havn't tried putting them on yet, but I'm pretty sure that'll work.....
But the L2500 has a really monster tone, a little flatter sound with more sustain than my L2000. The L2000 has more of a Jeff Berlin kind of jazzy sound especially with the thin strings I run on it (.95's) but the 2500 sounds a little smoother. It should be an awsome hard rock style bass
