Newbie Questions Re: L2500 Tribute

Sign in to disble this ad
Greetings, G&L users and thanks for the forum and great tips. I just bought an L2500 Tribute, and so far am really jazzed. Both the company and the ax are new to me so a few ???'s: How different is the bridge from the US version, and would I benefit from changing it out? (to a US G&L one) I've read a few things regarding strings in this forum: S.I.T or D'Addario? (there are gauge differences between these brands, so...) any others you would recommend? Thanks for any advice you can offer!

Bridge

As far as I know they have the same bridge. I have a Trib. L-2500. I looked at changing the bridge but the stock one is a big chunk of metal. After playing it a while I like it!. They come stock with D'Addario strings.
