I just pulled the trigger on a passive El Toro last night on the 'Bay. I'll report on how it plays when I receive it.

I finally got it on Friday. It plays like buttah . but the pickup selector is stuck on the bridge pickup, so I can only get both pickups in series mode.

Timmay, if you ever bust yours open, I'd love to see a pic or schematic.
Thanks!

-GB | It isn't any different than the active, just no rear switch. The front 2 are the same.

Jim | Okay, anybody got an active El Toro schematic? Mine currently has no guts at all, except for the pickups. It was originally active, but I'd rather restore it passive.
Thanks,
