Premier finishes... no purple burst?

I've been looking at (no, drooling over really) the L-2000 and 2500s, but while the blue and green bursts look oustanding purple would be my ideal... Think they would ever offer such?

FWIW, the black on my blueburst L2500 looks dark purple in bright daylight.

Cool... would be even cooler if the burst itself was purple... I want it to be dark purple and sound purple...

You and me both, brother. I'd order a new G&L if they offered any of those finishes again.

God, that looks hot. On a related note, it seems like they are offering blackburst as a premier finish now, according to the 2008 price list. WANT!

Get over it.
Take your G&L Bass; strip OFF the finish to the bare wood---
Learn to love and appreciate the bass for it's build, and the tone, and the groove...
Do NOT concern yourself with "earthly matters" such as a finish option... Be very real...

Oh-except for my Blonde ASAT w/ Bird's -eye board, TNG,
Natural Wood Binding.....

That's different.
