Checked the finances. It's looking good. I want an L2K, with:

- #8 neck
- gun-oil tint
- possibly body binding

Also, what are the pricing differences between the three categories of finishes? Is there a difference in price between alder and ash irrespective of finish?

I know this will vary by dealer, and there's probably not a lot of leeway due to it being a custom order. Hence the term "ballpark".

I shopped around a few months back for a bass with a few "custom" options. There wasn't a lot of price difference between the bigger dealers, but there was enough for me to prefer one over the others. I'm waiting before the order gets placed.

For whatever it's worth, the list seems up to date (the metal flake finish was raised last summer and that is reflected).
