What's a good resource for replacement pickguards for G&L basses? Does the factory sell them? I have an all black usa sb-2 on the way and I'm thinking red tort would look sweet! Thanks!

I was told the original G&L pickguards are manufactured by Chandler. They offer quite a variety of colours/materials on their website:

I saw that but there is no SB-2 listed. Same as SB-1?

chandler pickguard

Hi Watspan, I got a black matte or suede finish pickguard for my SB-1. Only cost me $44.00 bucks but I had to wait a month to get it. Very happy though, exactly what I wanted. I believe the pickguard for a SB-2 is the same as the SB-1. Had to send my old pickguard in so they could trace it. Got both P/G's back. There's also 'Jeannies pickguards' that you can check out. Good luck and check out my pics.

Eddie
