replacement saddles

Does anybody know of the availability of saddles for g&l basses, there are none on g&l's website...baxter68

I'd call Matt at Guitar Man to see if he can get you some. He has a good relationship with G&L and it appears he's snagged all kinds of replacement parts for folks around here which might be otherwise hard to come by.

I've never called him for parts, but I bought a bass from him and I can tell you he's a cool guy whose service is top-notch. He'd be my first call if I were in your shoes.

I've contacted G&L directly for parts. I've bought saddles on their website directly though I don't know if they are listed currently.

What year is the bass?

There can be fit issues depending the generation.

I would like to get a new set of saddles for my '82 L2000e. Anyone know if there will be fit issues?

They won't fit. See the "historical parts" thread over in the G&L forum on BABP.
