First of all, photo credit goes to Brian J. Bruemmer (TBer brian v2.0) courtesy of his thread in the Basses Forum. Second, the red bass: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bbruemm...7621457855561/

But if it follows the mold of the new JB by emulating Fender, it won't have an MFD pickup, and will have a 20 fret neck with four bolt joint. On the upside, if it comes with a classic P neck, maybe you'll be able to get that neck on the JB, and vice versa. That would be sweet.

(Could be the flash on the camera, though.) This and a possibility of an SB-1 being revived and I'm going to start saving up to get a custom G&L made. |

Anybody hear any more about the SB-1 coming back? I really need them to make them in black/maple with the flat black pickguard and bridge again.
When I bought my black/maple SB-2 back in the 80's there was a matching SB-1 along side of it. I couldn't decide between them after playing them for about an hour so I went ennie-meenie-miney-moe and stopped on the SB-2, I should have bought them both...
Tom

I've never read, heard or seen one anywhere else on a new bass. But apparently they're available. So maybe you could get one on a SB-1. |
