SB-2 or ASAT

I own a '83 SB-2 and an '91 ASAT as well as a '81 L2K. The SB-2 was bought on ebay and has suprisingly become my number 1 and has me gravitating toward single coil pickups.

I love the looks (except for the eye gouger and tacky white decal) and the neck on the ASAT but had to use half-rounds to get the deep tone I like. Also it has 1 dead spot.

I saw another SB-2 in a shop that is the twin of mine. Old, played, beat up a little, just like I like 'em. I am torn. I'd have to give up the ASAT to get the 2nd SB-2.

Any opinions?

I'm not very emotional about gear, so I would get the 2nd SB-2. It seems to me, you'd play that a lot more than the ASAT and an instrument needs to be played...
