SB-2 Audio Samples Anyone???

Sign in to disble this ad
I'd like to hear an SB-2 (US or Trib) if anyone has any recordings they've made with one. Or if you know of a link where I can listen to one I sure would appreciate it!

Thank you.

The Iron Maidens performing Losfer Words.....

Anything by them Wanda recorded with one of her 2 SB-2's

Try some of the links here....

Jim

P.S. the Losfer Words audio was recorded on a Zoom H-2. The camera audio sucked.

That was outstanding, Jim. I enjoyed that. She makes the G&L sound very good. I had flashbacks to my teenage years jammin' to Maiden by the pool!

Thanks for sharing it.

I have a bunch of tracks from some rehearsal recording we did a few months ago. I love how my bass sounds, but I can't get an attachment posted. Do I have to be a supporting member to do so? Or, where can I post a clip to stream?

Here is 1 minute from a work-in-progress we recorded on Friday night. It is definitely rough, recorded with 1 stereo mic into a Edirol R-1 in a basement, probably our 3rd time thru this new original, letting it evolve.
I liked the tone I was getting so far, may roll off the high end a bit for a darker sound.

USA SB-2 played thru a Genz Benz GBE600 and an Avatar 212 Neo cabinet.

Good sound, especially for just a single mic. I'd like to hear more. The bass sounded great.

I appreciate you sharing it!

What I do is upload the audio to another website (lots of free ones out there) then use the "insert link" button above your post window here on TB to share the link. Not sure if that's the only way or not. Hope you figure it out - I'd like to hear it.

Ok. I found a site. Here's my clip:

http://www.nowupload.com/:m6b

It's my SB-2 through a SABDDI to my TE powering an Avatar 2x10 and Ashdown 1x15.

I have more if you're needing more tones.

edit: sounds lousy there, but through headphones (or non-computer speakers), you can hear the bass better.

I've got some clips (probably old and crummy) on my soundclick page: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/defa...&content=music

I should redo all of the fretted G&L ones, I've got an L2K, SB-2 and have a Climax on the way. Hmmm, another project for my non-existant free time.

Thank y'all. All the clips sounded great.

lildrgn, through my suddio monitors I could hear the bass just fine. Nice sound, thanks.

craigb - I thought the fretless SB-2 was the best sounding of your samples. How did you record those?

And it was the most recent recording (they are in chronologically reverse order on the page).

Fortunately I put my signal chain into the song notes: signal chain was SB-2 into Yamaha BBT-500H set flat (both amp type and EQ) and DI out (without speaker simulation) into a Fostex MR8-HD (digital multitrack recorder)
