SB-2(p/j version) wiring diagram/photos?

Sign in to disble this ad
Anyone here have, or can point me to, either a wiring diagram or photo of the the wiring from a modern G&L SB-2 P/J setup? All i can find are the diagrams for the old SB-2's with dual single coils and 3-way blade switch.
Basically, is there anything special about the wiring of the current SB-2, or is it wired in a standard P/J setup only without the tone pot?

thanks for the link, just found that guy's other thread over at BABP's where he re-wired his SB-2 with a stacked volume pot and added a tone pot to the mix. Also just found his site where he's got the wiring diagrams for both his modded version and the original.

that's what I did to my SB-2, had Butch at Bayou Cables make me a wire harness with CTS pots, works excellent.
peace,
Brian

Yeah- the tone pot is a great mod for an SB-2, just made me decide to keep mine after being up on the fence about it for a couple months!
