sb-2 Tribute

Saw one of these at the local shop. There was no price on it and the clerk could only find a price in the normal G&L catalog. Is the SB-2 the same as the SB-2 tribute or is it a less expensive alternitave

Tributes are the cheap version sortof (I belive they're CNC'd somewhere in Asia and use some parts (electronics?) which are of less quality), but they good for the price.

The Tribute SB2 new is around $450 to $500. I just got a used one in excellent condition off ebay for $265. They are very good basses for the money. They have the same electronics as their US versions. I don't think the tuners are the same.
