schematics/manual for JB2 knobs?

Sign in to disble this ad
I just got a good deal on a used G&L JB-2. I'm trying to reverse engineer what the three knobs do just by sound but would like to know what the actual wiring for them is.

Checked the G&L websites and the JB2 doesn't seem to be in the list of available manuals and schematics online. Explanations or pointers to docs online would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

i installed new pickups in my jb-2. as i recall they are wired pretty much like a fender jazz. the p/u's just have two leads coming out and there is a 3rd black wire that goes from the pot and is screwed into the wood under the pickup.

Thanks. It had seemed like neck pu vol, bridge pu vol and I wasn't sure if it was balance between pickups or tone.
