serial or paralel switch on tribute L2500

I Bought a new L2500 tribute to complete my gig kit with my old p-bass 1970 so there's a mini switch for paralel or serial ...What is the difference between paralel and serial and do that difference change if i select the neck or bridge pick-up?

You'll find it functions mostly as a bass boost in forward position. That difference won't change with the pickup selection.

The series/parallel switch puts the two different coils in each humbucker in series or parallel with themselves. The output is then ganged together at the pup select switch if in the middle position. In general, series will be more full bodied but a bit noisier, parallel will be a bit cleaner.

Edit: if you go to G&L's web page, go under Support there is a link toward the bottom where you can find the schematics.
