| I think you are looking at the L-5000's like the one with my natural and red L2K's.
Very hard to locate and if one pops up many a G&L gear whore will pounce on it.

1981 L2000E, born fretless with a skinny lil "J" type neck, currently wearing a 1987 big fat fretted "P" type neck. Why? Showed up on ebay one day, so why not
And the 2000 Tribute L2500. The burst on this is not as "fade-y" as the 1981, but not really as abrupt as it photographs.
Spydeyjg: the "humbucker position" on the '81 is definately fatter than the 2500's...
