Single coil mode on Tribute L2500?

Has anyone changed the series mode on their Tribute to a single coil mode? If so, what did you do? I'm no good with schematics.

The description I have found seems to have been written for the USA L2500 and it doesn't match what I'm seeing in my control cavity.
