Thumb rests?

Sign in to disble this ad
I've owned basses in the past with a screw on thumb rest (Fender). Currently all my basses don't have one so I use the top edge of the neck pick up. Have seen some Laklands that have a frame for the front pick up with a thumb shelf at the top. What's available for the G&Ls? Thanks

on basses that don't have a good spot to anchor your thumb (when playing the e string) i've been crafting a small piece of plexiglass, polishing it and double-sided taping onto the bass. you can barely see it and it removes easily if you sell the bass.....

Oh man, you wouldn't really screw one of those onto a pristine G&L body...
