How many of you trade your G&L for something else before?
I don't know why but i'm tempting to trade my Tribute L2500 for a Musicman or a Fender P-Bass

The closest I've come is swapping out the stock maple neck on my L2k for a Moses graphite fretless. I still feel a bit guilty about it, but then I play it & all is well.

I'm thinking of trading my beloved Sterling for an ASAT. I figured the guy wouldn't be interested, but he may be. Waiting for his response.

Yikes.

My 2 cents----keep that L2500, then get a P-bass when you can. Put flats on the P, and keep rounds on the L2500---there will be very few musical situations you won't be able to handle with just that 2 bass arsenal.

Edit: just looked at your gear list. Fine collection you have as-is. I'd keep it. But yeah, always good to have a P around, especially w/flats.

TRADING IS A "DEATH BY HANGING" OFFENSE AROUND HERE. THE VERY IDEA!!!!! TRADING YOUR G&L FOR A NON G&L...
