Trib L2500 and Markbass CMD121

Anybody else have this combination? I just got the Markbass and I am really struggling to find the settings on it that really sounds good. Seems kinda hollow. Better if I reduce the mid-lows and mid-highs.

I am pretty happy with my TBC sound, but the L2500 is more difficult. Almost too many options.

Really interested in your settings if you have this combo.

Thanks.

I have the same gear and I have to say that L2500 is really full of mids. But I like it that way - it cuts easily through all the bands (I got 3 - indie rock, jazz-fusion and "alternative"). Usually I set the eq flat with some slight bass boost. The 10" speakers do not produce "fat" bass sound so I have additional oldschool 1*15" hometuned with Eminece Kappalite 3015 for rehersals and bigger gigs to enhance the deep bass sound. IMHO it´s better to leave the eq flat and use the VPF for the midrange cut along with slight VLE for cutting the highets frequencies (MB doesn´t have any control for the piezo tweeter). This works for me. Anyway - MB amps are designed to reproduce the true sound of your instrument, so you have to tweak the controls a bit to get the sound you like.
I hope you will be satisfied when you´ll find YOUR tone

BTW: This is my rig (sorry for the picture size)

I screwed up the numbering, turns out I have the 121, but your info helped. I am still experimenting, but at least I know I am not crazy about feeling like the bass is mid-heavy.

I'm turning the mids down a bit and running the VPF at about 1:00 with VLE at about 9:00.

Getting closer to what I like. Thanks for your input.
