Doing a good setup will make it MUCH easier to play. Even my MIA L2500 fretless nearly broke my left arm with the factory setup. I had to do a bunch of work on it when I got it to get it setup....

But yes, it's the voice of satan now....

Nah, those pics were pretty much out of the box. It's already been set up properly, and the action is just fine, and oddly enough, the nut was cut perfectly, no need to fix anything (lost yer million there! ). I always set up any new bass/guitar I get, so that wasn't the deal. Only problem were the itchy and scratchy () pots, but that's just a quick fix and it hasn't bothered me yet, so I'll leave it for next week!

Good to hear that you've resolved your issues with the neck size.

Oddly enough, so did I. Ended up selling the Tribute L2k I loved to get the L2.5k that I thought I didn't like. Spent some more time with the TL2.5k in a local store and decided I could really learn to like it.

Kept the TBC AP500M (both in my avatar) and I don't see either going anywhere anytime soon. Did some work on the TBC and got it where I want it.

No question that the G&L is the better bass and I probably don't need any other bass, but I already own the TBC, so it stays. If it ever came to a choice, the G&L stays.

I'm betting that's a good thing.
