Okay - One last time, and a bump, before I call this little project as done as I can get it.
I'm trying to find out what the radius of your fingerboard is as well as the date of manufacture of your bass. So...
You can download a free radius gauge
here. It's in PDF format, so you'll need Acrobat Reader to view & print it. When printing, be
sure that you're not scaling it up or down in size. Use 1" = 1". Please print & measure your fingerboard. There's no need to pull strings - just eyeball it or cut slots in the gauge for your strings.
You can date your bass from this info:
yymmxxxx or yymmxxxxx
yy = year, as in 09 for 2009
mm = month, as in 01 to 12
xxxx or xxxxx: serial number produced in the specified month
If you're able to help out with this, please reply here. All I need is the month & year of manufacture and the radius. I'm particularly looking for l-2500 basses from late 2005 to the present.
