Upcharge for lefty?

I don't see any mention on the G & L or Buffalo Brothers websites of an upcharge for left-hand models. Does this mean there is no surcharge for left-handed instruments? Anyone out there in TB land know the answer? TIA

Supposedly not. The president of BBE John MacLaren is left handed himself and at NAMM said he would not penalize lefties.

G&L does not upcharge for lefties and the offer all basses and most guitars left handed.

If I remember correctly I paid a slight upcharge to go with a #6 neck but the actual lefty option was free.
