Used 1505 price question

I was in Guitar Center over the weekend, and I saw a used G&L 1505 (3 color sunburst I think, maple fret board, don't know what year). I really like the feel of the neck. The string spacing is great. And it sounds wonderful. I'm going to go check it out at lunch today and maybe buy it. They are asking $850 for it, and I think it has the case. I think $850 seems a bit high. What would be a good price?

That's just a little high I would guess, but not way out of line. $7-800 would probably be more in line. Obviously depends on condition.

Looking at completed Ebay auctions, it looks like mrpackerguy is right on the money. Some go higher, but not many.
