I own one, but don't think you should because they are only for special people. Oh, heck, go ahead and get it, but it won't make you special.

Paying some debts, putting a few aside for college books and then I'll buy, a second opinion wouldn't hurt if its funny for the crowd

Okay, okay, okay. Your mom's probably right. Well, maybe. Kinda remains to be seen what you do with that other stuff. But if those are your financial priorities, in order, then not only are you special, you just might be precious.

So yeah... knock down the credit cards, get your books purchased (sticker shock time!). There are LOTS of basses out there!

Some people love the tribby L2Ks... but if it were me, I'd hold out for a used USA with a #8 neck. You can find L2Ks like this sometimes, or nearly always on an ASAT.

Not necessary to save more and get a US G&L. My Trib is an excellent bass, as was the Trib L2k I owned previously.

Smart to pay debts, get books and then get a good bass. Smart financial decisions will pay off over a lifetime.
