Visual difference between Tribute and USA

Hi guys,

First, if there was such a topic before, I will gladly accept the redirection and closing of this thread, but my search did not yield good results.

I'm looking for an L-2000, seeing a bunch of ads and most people don't specify if it's a USA or Tribute model (or they can say whatever they want ...). I just wish to make sure what I am looking at (mostly to judge pricing) so would like to know what kind of visual clue should I look for (ideally spotable from crappy cellphone pictures, that will save me some driving ).

Did Tributes always have the "Tribute" mention on the headstock ? (I'm not necessarily only looking at recent basses ...)
Any other clue ?

Older Korean models say "Tribute" in large letters on the headstock and it's stamped in the bridge as well. The newer Indonesian models just say "Tribute Series" in small print underneath the G&L logo.

You can also tell by looking at the back of the headstock. A US model will be blank or will have a short serial number. Not sure about the Korean models but the Indo ones will have a circular decal with the country of origin and serial number on it

Serial numbers for US basses will be CLFXXXXX or BXXXXXX for US basses (CLF newer, B older) and just numbers for Tributes:

XXXXXXXX (e.g., 01234567 - Made In Korea Tribute Models only)
XXXXXXXXX (e.g., 012345678 - Made In Indonesia Tribute Models only)

I attached a couple of pics of Tribute headstocks, the SB2 is Korean and has the big Tribute, the JB2 is Indonesian and has the small Tribute.
