Will 34" scale strings work strung through-body on my L2500 Tribute?

I've got an L2500 tribute coming this week. I know the scale is 34" but can I use standard 34" scale strings if I want to string through-the-body? Do I need to use 35" scale strings?

I use DA XL170 nickel rounds, or SIT nickel rounds.
I believe both of those are spec'd for 35".
You need about one more inch of string to run thru the body...

You have to make sure the D'Addarios are 170-5SLs (super long) or they won't fit through the body. Standard DRs fit and I think GHS strings fit.
