Worth of an 81 G&L?

I got offered an 81 G&L in trade here on TB. Its all original and sunburst.

One of my first basses was am early 80s G&L L1000 with the eye gouger headstock with an ebony board and a wine red kind of finish. I had to sell it to move in NYC 2 years ago and I've missed it ever since.

So now I have the opportunity to get another one, but what are they worth? I honestly have no idea. I sold mine to my friend for $600. The one in question now is an 81 in Sunburst with a maple board. Its got a lot of player wear and its all original and doesn't have the eye gouger stock.

I needz money for I am poor but I love me a nice G&L!

EDIT: Forgot to add that the bass I'd be trading is worth about $1200 or so used. So I'd be looking to even out the value if possible.

I asked the same question last month. Apparently they go for anywhere between 600 and 900. Price is also going up.
