Would Precision pickguard fit the body of a L2000?

It's the same body, right?

I'd obviously need to drill holes.

Specifically, a 72 type from Warmoth.

Ok...now really, I want to know. Of course I have to cut it to match the pickups.

And if it matters, it's a Tribute which I intend to modify slightly anyhow. Black Schaller tuning heads, black BadAss II bridge, black Gibson type barrel knobs.

Honestly, I have no idea. Maybe someone with a G&L also has a Pbass pickguard laying around they could hold up to it and see?

It would be interesting to see a pickgard on an ASAT Bass.

BadAss II bridge
That is gonna be a downgrade. A BAII is a great bridge but the Saddle lock is better.

Your bass, your money. The body is routed under the bridge....

Hmmm...I could keep the bridge and just get the tuners.

The Tribby tuners have screws that are spaced different than the USA. It may be a bit of woodwork to get something else in there.

The tuners on the Tribbys could be better so if you find an easy replacement one go for it.

Nope. I tried to Photoshop a Pre guard onto a L2000...it fits...wrong. The curve of where the knobs are off. It came close though.
