$400 for a Sunn 200s?

I'm thinking it's a good deal, but I'd like some feedback,

He says it's been recently retubed and it has a new power cord. I'd be using this for the bridge pup on my Ric.

Sounds good to me, especially if it's been serviced. Also check ebay completed.

I offered him $350 as it's not really a necessity right now. Probably won't get a response until tomorrow.

Sounds like a good deal if it's in good shape.

IME this amp has a really lively treble presence. I expect it could really work wonders with a bridge pickup.

These days that is an amazing deal. A few years ago that would have been way too much.

Anybody else hate the band Sunn 0))) for making Sunn amps go way up in price?

Yep, he shot down the offer of 350. I told him if he changed his mind to let me know.

It was OK. It had new tubes and ceramic tube sockets, but nothing else had been done and the innards looked rough. I believe rodents have lived in it and tons of rust are everywhere. A very worn physical appearance too. I think priced on the high side considering due for caps etc.

The recent popularity of that scene sure does, though.
