$80$ Marshall 60 Bass Amp

Sign in to disble this ad
I found a craigslist deal for a Marshal 60 bass amp for 80 dollars. There are no pictures in the ad and its missing some knobs but is still 100% working. If it is only 80 dollars, is this atleast worth looking into? It seems like this is a 500 dollar amp when purchased new.

Definitely sounds promising, especially if you need a nice practice amp. I'd investigate. Just bring a knife with you when you meet with him ...

$500 MSRP=what, $300 street? So if it did indeed cost 3 bills and now it's going for 80 bones, what are the chances it's been dragged behind a truck/buried in a cat box/otherwise abused?
Check it out if it's close- $80 ain't much these days

ya, the more I look at the add the less promising it is. There is also no location. I'll definitely bring a friend when I look into it. I am in dire need of a practice amp though. I have a 15w Crate amp with the cable input ripped out and a 400w piece of sh*t behringer that buzzes so much i'd rather use the 15w Crate.

Hi.

Do You know whether that's the recent model or the older one from the 80's/90's?

If it's the latter with 15" speaker, it's a decent amp, not very loud, had one back in the day.

+1 for being careful not to get robbed/mugged.

Regards
Sam
