...or D-CUP. How many of you fine folks use two combos as your rig? How do you connect them? What are the advantages/disadvantages? Do you ever lift and separate? I recently acquired a second MB212 and see this as all I'll ever need. Heck, ONE of them covers about anything up to the LOUD LOUD gigs.

Apparently, I'm the only one.....??

I KNOW Adam Bomb does this with 2 - MB210s, as well as KPJ, with 2 - MB115s.

Yeah, having two complete amp setups is great for effects users!

I usually don't run 2 combos, but last week I did a gig in a room I'd never been to before, and rather than take my Big Rig, I grabbed my 2 combos and figured I would reverse my Morley ABC box - running 1 bass to 2 combos rather than my usual 2 basses to 1 combo (I don't run 2 basses at the same time, but having it like this makes it easier to swap basses mid set).

However, when I got there the room was within the capabilities of either of the combos so I ran just the top one and used the bottom one as a very heavy and expensive stand.

Top combo: Markbass CMD 102P
Bottom combo: SWR Workingman's 15

*Ed McMahon voice* You are correct, sir!

Lub it. Gives me all the speakers/powah I need for gigs, plus backup. And short of a real gig, just one does just fine.

I used to do it, but the MB 115 doesn't fit in my trunk.

Anyways, I had T1M build me an aby switch. PM me and we can work something out if you are iterested since I only run 1 amp now. But... I ran one wet and one dry. It's a PITA for sound guys if you just play the bar crowd. Everyone says, "why do you need to DI's going to the board, youre just the bass?"

But that is neither here nor there.

How do you plug into your bottom amp with them stacked that way?
