**GK - MB Fusion Getting Closer To Reality!**

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm TRYING to hang on 'til the MB Fusion hits the stores. After owning both the MB2-500 and the Fusion 550, this could REALLY be something! I've seen one review of the MB Fusion here, I have no idea where he got it though.

Very exciting stuff!!

(and yes, I changed the title of this thread)

While I certainly enjoyed the Shuttle 9.0 that I played at Bass Emporium, I must admit, I am also very much looking forward to the MB Fusion.

We are just waiting for the high Voltage tube supply transformer to arrive then we can build them. Should be in production in about two weeks.

Alright! This has got to be one of the amps that I have been most looking forward to in recent years!

Thanks Bob, if you manage to make an amp with the tone and monsterous power of the Fusion 550 in a small, under 6 pound package, you will sell MANY of them!! I will wait. Any idea on when they will hit the streets?

So Bob G. says they'll be in production in two weeks. Any 'industry people' care to guess how long it will take for them to reach the consumer?

I definitely hear ya. At least they could cover their tracks by removing the 'New for 2009' banner next to the MB Fusion on the 'Latest News' page!

Might have been addressed elsewhere but I just noticed from the G-K site pics, there's no boost control on the MB Fusion.

Anybody know about this?

If I'm still alive when this thing hits the shelves, I'll prolly sell or trade my MB Tube 800 for one if the early reviews are good!

Same as the Fusion 550. Boost control not needed, just increase the input gain. The boost control added harmonics that you normally get from overdriven triodes.

This is one amp I've been looking forward to.
But, my god, they've been talking about it since Nov. 2009?
I'm trying to hold out for one?
It may solve my small amp needs?
HURRY GK HURRY !!!!

Well, according to Bob G. it will be going into production in less than a week. Let's hope that happens, AND that it is as killer as it promises to be!

Unclekebm, you keep us informed if you get it, OK?

The only thing I wonder about is whether the 'boost' control on the SS models, sounds better than a real tube!
