*gulp* I think I'm going to let my SVT go...

I bought a 2-Pro at the end of 2006, about the time when LOUD took over Ampeg; so my amp is an MIA SLM unit. This is the amp I dreamed of owning since 1994, and I bought it to use in a band I started with my brother. Well, that band is gone and I really have no intention of playing with any groups in the near future (especially one that requires SVT power). I also want to move out of NYC (just tired of it) and could use the money. I might also want to let my dual Goliath II cabs ( ). But no fear, I have a BX 500 and 2 x 1x12's which I love.

So my question is, since my SVT is DEAD MINT, never gigged and never driven hard, and a USA unit to boot....what do you think is a good asking price (considering the new 'Nam units cost 2 grand).

Unfortunately, resale on 2 Pros is the lowest of all SVT's. I've seen them as low as $700. But one that's mint from 2006? Maybe a grand, maybe slightly more. But it's kind of a buyer's market for the 2 Pro currently.

As an aside, Ampeg hasn't made stuff in Vietnam for 2 years now.
