1001RB or SVT-7 Pro

I know these two amps sound completely different. I like the sound of both, the SVT a bit more actually from demoing them in stores.

The question I have is about reliability, If both Amps had the same sound which would you buy?

GK. 7pro sounds too sterile, IMO

GK

I have a GK 1001RB and it rocks. Had a small chip in the circut board, local guy fixed it and it is fine. No real experience with SVT but understand they are great. GK customer service was good, also had a 800 RB head for many years, and many gigs

I really believe it comes down to the tone of what each manufacturer has to offer as far tone goes. I like the Ampeg sound so I say Ampeg. I find it to have a warmer middle, and I like the addition of a tube in the preamp.

I love the way the 7 pro sounds, but I've read about alot of problems with them. I don't know if these were just first production run issues that have been worked out or if there is still something to worry about.
On the other hand, I like the way the GKs sound also, never heard of any reliability issues with them, and I am running GK Cabs.
