110 to 240v conversion for Line 6 & Nemesis combos
 

Hi all,
checked both company's websites & did a yahoo/google search & came up empty so hoping someone on here may know or have heard. Living in Japan but looking to go home to Australia & have 2 combos, a Nemesis 210 & a Line 6 Lowdown Studio 110 I'd like to take back with me to keep or sell but use either way & can't find anything on having these changed from 110 to 240v. Any hints, leads or info appreciated. Cheers!

Nearly all consumer electronics are built for international voltage sources. It is more cost effective to have a single product line with selectable voltage input than separate power supplies for US vs. international. Because of US regulation, the manufacturer must identify the equipment as 110v only, but don't let that deter you.

The NC-200A manual indicates that the input voltage is selectable, but it doesn't say how. It may just be a fuse, or a jumper somewhere inside. I would contact someone at Eden or the Eden forum.

A thread on the forum for a different amp indicates internal jumpers: I'm guessing it's the same for all amps.

The manual for the LDS110 hints at two power ranges. I'd be willing to bet that this is also the case of an internal jumper setting, and you should contact Line 6 for specifics. Look for a sticker with the voltage printed on it: lift the sticker and see if there is a switch underneath it. This is the way JBL did it on their first generation EON powered speakers. The sticker made it kosher for the US, and they just used a different sticker to make it international.
