I had a thread earlier in the week,my G-K and acoustic bass head were swiped right off the stage.I bought a Hartke head for 99 dollars at GC,then at a pawn shop I scored an old Yamaha fifty115 bass amp for 50 dollars(with a blown speaker,I hooked up a speaker to test it out and it sounds nice.I will try to upload pictures

I once had a Yamaha 115 bass combo amp that was one of the best sounding amps/cabs I ever owned. It was a very hi-fi sounding cab. Every time I see a pic of that amp, I miss my old one. Not the loudest, but certainly one of the best sounding.

Good score.

Not a bad score. Sucks that you were in that situation, but at least you came out ok. Keep up the search for your old stuff though. I'm not sure what your local laws are, here in MA pawn shops are supposed to report serials daily and there is a hotline you can call to have them cross-check your numbers. If you don't have the serials, at least check the big box local stores and pawn shops and stuff, someone might turn the stuff in for a quick buck (that's what happened to mine). If you have a police report with a solid description of the goods you might be able to recover them.

Where in the world were you playing that someone went right up on stage and ripped off two bass heads? I've sweated that happening a couple of times with basses, but I never thought about someone taking the time to unhook everything and take off with my head. Guess there are advantages to using 90+ lb. combos.

I used to own one of those Yamaha B115s. Got a lot of mileage out of it until my mom's cats turned it into a scratching post/toilet when it was being stored in her basement.

Oh my friend at the music store gave me a fifteen inch speaker and I armor alled the cabinet,it looks and sounds new(thanks to pot cleaner spray)this is also the gods honest truth there was a bag of reefer in the cab I found out,I tossed in the basement and it will go out with the trash it could be antique weed or who knows what.I took the speaker out and there was a big plastic freezer bag and in the bag was about a third of a ounce.I could have really used that about 20 years ago,so my question is what would have happened if I sent the amp out for repair.Could I have been busted

If it was an 810 he would have thrown out his back on the way to the car.
