Ok so I have a question for ya'll. If you had ONLY 1500 dollars to spend at GC ONLY to buy a NEW amp, what would you get. This excludes used stuff sold there. Thanks! |

You can buy a high power head and big cab from the Talk Bass classifieds for 1500. Just look at those deals on the Mesa Big Block and M6 heads for sale.
But if you must buy new, then a new Big Block or M6/M9 is a given. |

4x10 or bigger cab
Play all of them you can afford & see which one you like best. I'd probably start with the Peavey VB2 & Ampeg 410. |

GC doesnt have a whole lot to work with but with what I know they have..get something Mesa. Not really into Ampeg or MarkB or Gaileen, so......
You could almost get 2 Hydrive 4x10's and a LH1000 for $1500.....

The MB-500, however, sounded fantastic with the 410 and 115 tried (separately, not together).
