hey phat, you're the one doing the resto, right? if i were you, i'd suggest putting this info all in one resto thread instead of breaking it up into smaller threads. makes it easier to find info and gives you a thread to follow the progress.

Nicely done.

The total width you call out, 24.5", is the installed, or finished width of the baffle. the actual width is 24 and 7/8". The baffle sits in dados on the sid panels. FWIW.

Man, I'm just a wealth of obscure useless svt info today.

Thanks for the tip...I was trying to do that but you only get a limited number of attachments per thread and I want to attach pictures and things. I attempted to add all my posts to the same thread but even though it looked like my pictures were loading up they didn't appear on the forum. So I opened a new thread and thats what you see. Am I missing something?

What are the chances of you making up the rest of the dimensions like this? I'd be really interested in all of the measurements of the whole box.

i can dig it. tb's software definitely frowns on too many photo attachments. so i'd suggest linking your photos with img tags through a free filesharing service like fileden or photobucket. very interested to see how it all turns out, btw!
