1979 Ampeg 810 cabinet I.D.?

I have an Ampeg SVT810 that I have positively identified to be 1979 20th week. . However the horible paper tag on the back of this cab that contains a serial number has apparently weathered so that only a 2 is visible on the very end. . My question is, is there any other way to identify what model number or name this cab has? I dont know if this helps but it is a slant back cab?!?!?

They only made one back then. If you've got the date and the speaker manufacture, that's as much info as you're going to get.

Yup, late 70s cab, eminence speakers. It's worth what people are willing to pay, really. The speakers don't handle as much power as newer speakers, and aren't as sought after as the original CTS speakers.

Well you were dead on with the date and model number. Unfortunately we're not allowed to discuss prices with non-supporting members, and yes, I've been spanked for doing it in the past.
