I had 2 amps swiped on a gig this past summer at stratford beach, life goes on I had a Hartke 4 10 cab and powered it with a Acoustic that I had fully serviced,I traded my Ampeg head for it I know Ampeg are great amps but this one seemed to be a dud I had rolled with an old acoustic bass head back in the day it was a great amp and I to this day keep my eyes open for one.My other rig was a G-K but the head was from the early 80's and the cab was a one 15 newer backline series.I had both the G-K head and acoustic head swiped so I got a deal on a Hartke model 2000 head head which my tech guy went through and I scored a old Yamaha for 50 bucks I bought casters a speaker and also had my guy go through the Yamaha.Well my friend had at his store a real clean nice Carvin bass amp my research dates it to about 1982,I used it and my Hartkes at a gig saturday I am using the Yamaha as a major portion of the trade as I think its easy to carry but I see some folks panned the Carvin so I go to you guys I paid 225 for it and I know got 240 in my 50 dollar Yamaha any thoughts from the folks out here?
