So, I'm looking at grabbing this amp up and was just wondering what people thought about the condition and price and just overall good dealyness? I got him down to $420.

MUSIC EQUIPMENT SALE!!!

If it's in good shape (can't check Craigslist at work), I'd say $400ish is a decent price on these amps. I like mine and it's been a workhorse for me for many years.

I got my svt6 off craiglist for only $400 for reference. Excellent shape and a whole lot more power than the svt3.

Offer $375 in hopes of meeting in the middle. IMO, the earlier versions are better than the newer versions. I've had both and prefer my blue script version. It seems to have more power and the EQ feels more "tweakable." There was a few years between my having a newer version vs. my current older model. READ THE MANUAL! TAKE TIME to work with the amp. Its not a plug-n-play amp IMO. I put a compressor in front of mind to beef it up a tad, but that's just me.

Yeah...

Yeah I have used one before and I actually loved it! However, I have already talked this guy down from $500 and I just think I can do better on price if I wait for another one to come around you know. Appreciate the responses so far!!!

I owned one, liked it, but imo, it doesn't have the tube sound of even the new PF500-which doesn't have any tubes.
I've a SVT 7 PRO now & like it a lot more. YMMV of course.
