1st Bass amp

Well, I'm a newbie to all this bass action. I've completed my novice set-up today with an Ampeg BA115 amp. I am playing a 1992 Fender P-Bass through it. Sounds great, just need to practice, practice, practice. I am also fortunate enuff to have a great teacher. I however am not a newbie to the music world as my husband has been in 2 local bands & both children play. My eldest son, Chevy is a guitarist & my youngest is a drummer having taken lessons from Steve Hollingworth from Five Man electric band for 2 years. I'm a 46 year old chick with a love of all music. Just now figure I have enuff time to commit to this. I have been told to respect this site & can already see that it will be a helpful tool. Any guidance, encouragement, opinion etc. is greatly appreciated. Cheers
