My rig is going to be changed fairly soon. I used to have my preamp and poweramp in the same rack, but on Friday I'll be buying an old tube poweramp. The new poweramp is about the size of a small tube amp, and will be sitting on top of my rack with just the preamp inside.
Does anybody make a hard 1U rack? The smallest I can find is 2U, but I'd rather not have the empty space there. SKB makes a soft 1U, but I want the poweramp sitting up on top and it's a bit heavy.
