1x12'' + 1x15'' cab . .. is it possible ?

I have never made any cabinets and i have little understanding
of electronics, but when I want to make something, I want it special.

I was wondering: could it be possible to make a cabinet with one 15'' and one 12'' together ?

I haven't seen any (yet), but it could be awesome.

I was thinking it could get a real nice mid and low end.

What do you think?
Have you seen any?
Where can i get good speaker parts?

From the little I know about speakers there would be no real benefit to having a cab setup that way. In fact, I think it would actually be an inefficient design. Someone far smarter than I will be able to tell you why.

if you want to build your own cab i would suggest you read up ALOT, its not as simple as building a box and putting random drivers in it,

why do you wish to go for a 15" AND A 12"? if you want good lows and mids why not try a 15 (or 12) with a 6!

check out fEARful™ enclosures for bass/drums/keys and other DIY build threads here on TB.

Schroeder has been doing it for a while, with the 1215L or the 1215BMF

I think the OP is assuming that lower frequencies come from bigger spkrs, highs from smaller, and mids from 12's(?), and this is of course, completely untrue. If you want a bass cab that has a nice full beefy sound from top to bottom, it would be a 2-way or 3-way design with a 12 OR 15 woofer, paired with a 6" mid driver, and a tweeter- like the fEARful design, or Avatars similar offering. MUCH more to know than the myths and misnomers currently floating about.

Possible, yes. But illogical.

Don't waste your time and materials. Without engineering, it will be garbage
