Hi all,

Not sure if this has already been asked in another thread so here goes....

Has anybody got any experience running a Promethean head through any of the following:

Epifani UL112 or PS112
Aguilar DB112, GS112 or SL112
Bergantino AE112
Genz Benz NEOX 112
Vanderkley 112EXT

If so, your thoughts would be much appreciated. In particular, were you able to get a full, punchy sound, how much clean volume could it put and was the combination good for handling notes from a low B string.

Cheers, Chris

ps the one I'm eyeing off at the moment is the Epifani UL112.

Personal preference, as they'll all sound different from one another. Thing is, I have yet to see a single 12 that can handle even 300 watts for real, so 500, you'll never be able to crank much from the amp. Loud volume requires more than a single 12 will ever give you. Real world, I'd expect ANY of the listed 1x12's to start farting out at 150-200 watts.

Can't comment on 12s. But I have two 8ohm Schroeder 15+Ls that I've used it with. It's ok with one but it doesn't get super loud, and not really that punchy. However with my 8x8 the head really performs well.
