Hey,
I am on the verge of buying a TC Electronics RH750 amp, and looking for a 1x15 (I think) to go with this lightweight theme. Any experiences? I have researched Barefaced Compact and it looks impressive on their site. |

That cab should sound like one of the Bag End 15 cubes, with more real low end and a more aggressive upper mid response, both of which are a good thing with the mid present TC heads. |

I'd choose Barefaced Compact if I were again in this situation.
I went instead the DIY way and built something also based on the Kappalite 3015 (non LF or "HO") with a large horn for mids and crossover and the other box without (The crossover and horn are dimensioned for both and I have switches for single cab operation). The cab without is similar to the Barefaced Compact and it works really well with the RH750.
To me with the limited power you can get from the RH750 at 8 ohms, any cab based on the Kappalite 3015 non LF is not excursion limited and provides very good efficiency and usable mids if used full-range. The result is good, "full", clean, loud and "tight". I don't miss anything from my former sealed 4x10 and I like the "punchy" sound. Now I can get the same... or a very deep sound when the song requires it. |

That being said I don't own this cab and only have limited exprience with it.
I am a 15 fan and it's one of the only stock cab I would consider.
Currently I use a custom cab with a 15G40 Beyma and that has been working well for me. This driver is very heavy that being said.

And it gets seriously loud with good bottom and present mids with a silky top end.. I liked it so much i just bought another one for larger gigs. UBER BASS | GENZ BENZ
EDIT.. Sorry.. Just saw that you are in Norway...... ... I will be up your way next spring.. hit me up so i can invite you to the show. Barefaced may be closer to you unless you have a Genz dealer to check an Uber out

| | | | 35-40 lbs seems to be the Neo standard for a 115 cabinet.
GK spoiled me.
The DIYs look right on.

Unfortunately, mine will be for sale soon (maybe today!) as my wife is 7 months pregnant and I have save up my pennies.
