2 Ampeg 210AV Cabs - Simple? (dumb?) question

Sign in to disble this ad
I'll (try to) keep it short. I just don't have much of a grasp on how these things work. If I daisy chain my 2 210AV cabs together and run a 4ohm head, how much power will they handle? I though I read somewhere here that running the 2 200w cabs together somehow gives you 400w of power handling. True? I'd like to try a PF350 w/ these 2 cabs as my gig rig but don't want any kaboom-ing.
Thanks!

Yes, if each cab can handle, i.e., 150 Watt, the cabs "chained" can handle max 300 Watt (150+150).

While I had those 2 cabs, I used both 300 and 500 watt heads with the pair.
They're nice!
A Mesa Boogie Walkabout with those is really sweet.

Thanks for the answers guys!
That clears things up nicely.
My 2 210av's together (@ 4 ohm) can
handle 400 watts. Love it!

My A/B test of the Ampeg Micro VR versus the PF350, both with 2x 210AV: Ampeg PF500/PF350

Enjoy!
