2 amps, 3 cabs; best set up?

All Acoustic. 600 watt head on bottom, 200 watt on top. The 200 powers the 4x10, the 600 powers both 1x15's. From my bass it plugs into the "active-in" on the 600, from the "passive-in" on the 600 I am using a 5" cable to the "active-in" on the 200 watt head. Is there a better way to do this? This way works and sounds pretty good, but I can imagine the possibility of signal/volume loss somewhere which is the one thing I really want to avoid.

If I had your setup I'd split my signal with a Y cable after my TU-2 & put one into the 600W to the 2 15s and the other side into the 200W into the 410. You could switch them to see how it sounds too... 200W to the 2 15s & 600W to the 410. It's up to you, really, but the only thing I'd do differently is split my signal before the heads with a Y cable or ABY box.

After I posted this that thought came.....a 1/4" to 1/4" Y-cable. I will definitely be trying this.

Yeah, and there's a whole lot of possibilities that come from this type of setup. If you want one side of your rig to be clean and the other to be dirty you can split your signal and attach pedals or adjust amp volumes or EQs as you see fit without degradation in the other half of your rig. Pretty cool way of doing things if you're willing to schlep all that stuff to a gig.

I think I will get an ABY pedal. I found a very good one for a great price. Worth the investment.
